At Angelica Village, we encourage everyone to give what you can and receive what you need. We recognize that each person has inherent value and worth, and can contribute to community living. We subvert the power imbalances present in typical social services by building a community network of care that empowers members to mutually support one another. No one should have to go through life alone, and at Angelica Village, you don’t have to.

Angelica Village is an intentional community of folks seeking community as a refuge from war, violence, and displacement, and as a means of healing our collective and individual trauma. We are a diverse group, including refugees, immigrants, US nationals, individuals, families, youth and elders.

WHAT IS ANGELICA VILLAGE?
Angelica Village is an intentional community of people who commit to supporting each other in daily life and in reaching their potential. Everyone who is a part of Angelica Village joins with the intention of supporting our vision of creating community living spaces that support each person’s humanity and health. In our community, most members live in separate homes, with the exception of two independent living homes. The premise of Angelica Village is that long-term, intentional community and intensive support programs are key determinants of overall well-being and health. We build community to fulfill our needs and mutually support one another. Angelica Village supports six dimensions of health (personal, financial, vocational/ educational – enrichment, physical, mental /relational, physical health, and spiritual).
Angelica Village is home, family, and community to 14 households comprised of 87 individuals ages 6mos.-76. We are blessed to have global representation within our community with youth, adults, and families coming from Honduras, Colombia, El Salvador, Guatemala, Venezuela, Democratic Republic of Congo, Afghanistan, Tanzania, Eritrea, and the United States.
